List of things to bring for Camp

So choir camp is tomorrow! 7.30pm at nativity! please be on time guys, so that we can start on time!

1. A set of clothes for mass on Sunday + appropriate shoes for mass.
2. at least 3-4 sets of clothes including underwear
3. bible
4. writing materials
5. gifts for your mortals (sweets, chocolates etc etc)
6. fork, spoon, cup, plate
7. towel
8. shampoo, soap, toothpaste, toothbrush, comb, facial wash etc etc
8. running shoes for morning exercise and outdoor sessions
9. $30 and consent forms either signed by parents (under 21) or you (21 and over)
10. money for b'fast on sunday morning if you need to eat
11. pillow and blanket/sleeping bag for night (mattress provided)
12. sweater/jacket

Coming back home!

hello from down under the-people-i-miss-most-in-the-world!

i have 3 weeks left of school and suddenly i have alot of things to do.. thats what you get when you procrastinate work i think.. but i am being super productive these days.. over the weekend i finished a report, and i plan on finishing an essay by wednesday.. then i'll only have my research project lit review paper left to do! and 2 exams of course.

i am coming home on the 26th of nov! 3am! so if anyone wants to have supper with me on that day please come! i will be having many many many cravings. daryl is coming home on the 13th (if anyone cares) hahahah!

i dreamt of you guys the other day. i was back home and we were all learning and practicing carols, and jackie changed like, so many things.. so i kept singing the old stuff and getting it all wrong and she got so bloody angry with me! it was a nightmare!

christmas is coming! i'm gonna be so happy to finally be home.. i really hate being here and away from everyone.. its not all bad don't get me wrong, i would just prefer being comfortable at home.. josh and i have been singing carols and getting all hyped up for xmas.. haha.. but he always spoils the song by coming in with "descant parts". we'll need to set him straight Jo.

if anyone wants anything from here please let me know soon so i can get it okay! apart from shaun chan's boxers and sabina's vegemite, is there anything else?

Choir outing on LABOUR DAY

MEETING @ Yio Chu Kang MRT, 8:30am ... Yes its early but its a public holiday and if yall wanna suggest a later timing, I say NO... TOO BAD!!! Now, what to bring:



1. Wear shoes, WITH SOCKS that are thick preferably, no Jap socks allowed, those are just ugly.

2. Gloves if you have, contact with dangerous chemicals are hazardous to health. If you don't have a pair, not to worry, they are available for purchase on site.

3. MONEYSSssSSssss!!!! around $30 should be sufficient for the day's activities.

4. A Jacket (optional)



So here's the plan...



WE'll set sail at 830 if there aren't any late comers, first activity will end at 1pm for Lunch... Then we'll have activity number 2 if our turnout is good. Now for the lazy bums who can't make it before 1pm and aren't even joining us for lunch then, call me cause like I said, activity number 2 will only happen if my turnout is good.



Then when the day is turning into night we might have dinner together. Location is unconfirmed, preferably I'd like it at my house what say you? Well, must book haha...

lunch included and the retreat is to prepare everyone for Holy Week. Father Mike expects everyone to be there please.

21st MARCH GOOD FRIDAY 5.30PM MASS

we're singing for the mass thats before the actual day so that we can all have a full day free for 1st May

On-Goings and Happenings

Friday Night Gatherings

we have resumed fridays people. it's not choir practice, more spiritual get-togethers. whether we have 5 or 20 people, it will happen every friday night at 8pm without fail, so if you find yourselves doing nothing or looking for something to do before that night out on the town, or just feel like something is missing in your life, please join us for praise and worship and quiet reflection and time with God. i assure you, we do this because we need Him.

everyone needs to be present for this. it will not be as boring as it sounds... i promise... the comm just wants to find out what you liked/disliked about last year so we can make 2008 better yeah :) at the end of the day, if you want things to change, you gotta be there to suggest it... because it won't be fair to me or the comm if you don't give us the chance to try right?
